Dragon Ball: Son Goku

People of my generation probably perfectly remember how they were hurry to go home from school for one animated series. Today, this Dragon Ball mania is not over yet, the series are still being developed, the seasons are changing.  So it is great opportunity to present a fresh origami 3D work - Son Goku.

The series follows the adventures of the protagonist, Son Goku, from his childhood through adulthood as he trains in martial arts. He spends his childhood far from civilization until he meets a teen girl named Bulma, who encourages him to join her quest in exploring the world in search of the seven orbs known as the Dragon Balls, which summon a wish-granting dragon when gathered. Along his journey, Goku makes several other friends, becomes a family man, discovers his alien heritage, and battles a wide variety of villains, many of whom also seek the Dragon Balls.

Going back to origami, the work itself took about a couple of months.  About 1500 origami modules-details were produced and consumed.  The color gamut is clear enough, the second line uses only white.  The size of the parts is 32 / A4, so about 47 sheets of paper were used.  Height about 40cm.

It would be perfect for decorating a dragon ball-loving room.
